Hey everyone! This is my first post here...I'm going to be posting 1 sketch a day for the foreseeable future. Its just me, so I'll do my best to keep to the 1 a day schedule. However, in order to do that these are going to be quick sketches and studies from photos. The goal with this is honestly to improve my own artwork and to draw some things that I don't usually draw. There may be the odd day here or there that I have time to do more than just a quick sketch, but generally speaking its just gonna be pencil sketches. Love this one Micah, especially the blurred wing & body. The compound eye is excellent. The contrast between the simply sketched flower and the detail of the fly gives the drawing impact and amazing depth.
